Supporting Veterans in the Vines
 

     Tempe Creek Vineyard and Farm has been a local favorite since they opened. This wine vineyard on the edge of town gives everyone the beautiful views of the country without having to travel far from town. They are hosting “Supporting Veterans in the Vines” for some summer fun, so be sure to come out and have a good time on Friday, July 24th, from 2pm-8pm. They will be having live music, local vendors for shopping, and auctions. Come on out try some wine, raise some money for veterans and support this great cause.
     There will be a normal wine menu and appetizers available for purchase. There will also be beer and additional food. Plus some vendors with a variety of goods for sale. Admittance to this family friendly event will be $10 per person. The fun and food begins at 2pm and goes until 8pm. That means there is even time to leave and go back for a second round of fun. They’ve got every shade of wine and even special flavors getting ready to premiere regularly.
     Feel free to bring specific drinks or snacks for the kids, but this is an event that should have all that someone could need. Just remember that absolutely no outside alcohol is allowed at Tempe. They have a variety of animals on the premises at this vineyard. Some may come closer than others, like the guineas and dogs. The longhorns, cows, and donkeys are behind a fence. That will not keep them from asking for treats though. Use the provided animal food only while enjoying this fun addition to this adventure .
     Tempe Creek is hosting this event outdoors, so be sure to dress accordingly. There is limited indoor seating available for those who need it. There will be shade under a large covering with this fundraiser happening directly next to the majestic vines that produce the wine everyone will be enjoying.
