3rd Annual Smoke in the Pines BBQ Cook-off

It is time to cook and that means it is almost time to eat. The 3rd Annual Smoke in the Pines BBQ Cook-off will be held on June 24th and 25th. The event will be held at Pedigo Park in Livingston located off of highway 59. There will be food and fun for people of all ages. Come on down to taste some great food or show off some cooking skills. This is a family event. The fun starts for competitors on Friday, June 24th at 8am, but opens to the public at 6pm. If competing sounds like a great way to spend the weekend, then sign up now. If judging those competitors sounds like a good time, then come hungry on Saturday. There is only a $5 fee per person to get into this event, but the competitors have additional fees. They even have contests for kids and an Auto Show. Make sure to contact the correct people before the deadline to be able to sign up to be in the cook-off.

After having a great time in this local park it is normal to adventure around town. There are many places to shop, stay, and play after or before this event.
