Shop Small Season Event Begins

Holiday season is here and the Livingston Specialty Merchants Guild would like to wish you a wonderful season of joy! We hope that the happy carbs and love of the holidays will put us all into a happy and relaxed state for great times with loved ones. While this is a season that sometimes catches us off guard when it comes to shopping, this year the Guild is finding ways to help locals have a fabulous holiday season. Instead of the normal "Shop Small Saturday", a way to save money and get Christmas shopping out of the way in the best form possible, we are hosting an entire Shop Small Season! This special event is going for 32 days between Thursday October 29th and Sunday November 26th. Come out to support local Livingston businesses for the chance to win hundreds of dollars in prizes. passport
Shopping local is a way to get good deals, unique gifts, and support the community on many different levels. Some local businesses have teamed up to make sure there is no end to the variety of items out there to find for this special time. It’s a great chance to have some fun, visit some new places, and get the type of gifts that make people ask “Where can I get that too?”.
Simply go to any participating business and pick up a “passport” book. Choose any listed businesses, take the passport, go have a good time and get the passport stamped. After 5+ stamps the passport is eligible to win a prize valued at over $125. After 8+ stamps you’re eligible for the next prize valued at over $225. After 12+ stamps you’re eligible for the second biggest prize valued at over $375. After all 17+ stamps you’re eligible for the grand prize valued at over $800. Make sure the passport gets turned in and then wait for the 4 winners to be announced. It’s that simple. Such a perfect way to treat others or yourself. That's over $1500 in prizes.
